The hospital is designated by the Ministry of Health Labour and Welfare as a Diagnosis Procedure Combination (DPC) hospital. Using a method established by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, medical expenses are calculated based on a fixed amount of daily points depending on factors such as the patient’s symptoms and the content of surgical procedures, treatments, tests and so on. In some cases, such as psychiatry and dentistry beds, it may also be calculated on a completed amount basis as before.
