Tokushima University Hospital Medical Technology Staff Work Experience
On August 22, 2019, Tokushima University Hospital Medical Technology Staff Work Experience was held for high school pupils to learn about the work of medical technology staff.
Divided into seven groups, the pupils visited the clinical laboratory technology department, clinical radiology technology department, clinical engineering technology department, rehabilitation department, vision training department, dental medical technology department engineering room, and dental hygiene room.
The participants experienced the work of various medical technical staff, such as blood collection using a blood collection simulator and making dental molds using a dentition model. They took a serious approach to these activities in cutting-edge medical sites that people can’t usually enter.
