The Hospital Director presents a certificate of appreciation to Ms. Kumiko Endo for her help with an exhibition at the “be” Gallery
Hospital Director Shoji Kagami presented a certificate of appreciation to Ms. Kumiko Endo, who created an Exhibit of Memorable Miniature Kimonos. The Kimonos were showcased in the “be” Gallery on the first floor of the Hospital’s West Ward from April to August 2019.
The delicate miniature kimonos were well-received, with viewers of the exhibit remarking that “Kimonos are quite difficult to store, but this is a great way to preserve them!” and “Seeing those wonderful colors and familiar fabrics from the past is comforting; it’s like seeing the real thing.”
