“Tokushima University Hospital Forum -Spring 2025-” was held
On March 9, 2025, the “Tokushima University Hospital Forum -Spring 2025 -” was held at Otsuka Hall on the Kuramoto Campus of Tokushima University.
The forum consisted of two parts: “How to Extend Healthy Life Expectancy: Understanding Frailty, Locomotive Syndrome, and Sarcopenia” and “Early Diagnosis and Treatment of Cancer.”
In the first part, lecturers in medicine and dentistry spoke on topics related to the theme of “How to Extend Healthy Life Expectancy,” such as locomotive syndrome, frailty, and sarcopenia; oral frailty; and the prevention of and measures to combat dementia.
The second part, which was based on the theme of “Cancer,” featured lectures on lung cancer, breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, and the latest treatments and examinations related to cancer and genomics.
The event concluded successfully with over 500 attendees.
