Best Specialized Hospitals Asia-Pacific 2025
In its ranking of the “Best Specialized Hospitals Asia-Pacific 2025” that it publishes annually, the international news weekly “Newsweek” selected Orthopedic Surgery at this Hospital as the 47th best department in the Asia-Pacific region and the 7th best in Japan.
Among national university hospitals, the Hospital ranks 4th, following the University of Tokyo Hospital, Kyoto University Hospital, and Osaka University Hospital.
This Hospital is also the only hospital in the Shikoku region to be included in this ranking.
The ranking comprehensively evaluates online surveys of medical professionals, various accreditations and certifications, and the status of implementation of patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs). Orthopedic Surgery was rated highly by being selected among the top 75 departments in the Asia-Pacific region.
