Books donated to the Pediatric Ward
On April 6, 2026, we received a donation of books for our young patients from Dr. Noriko Kodaira. DR.Kodaira is a graduate of Tokushima University Faculty of Medicine and currently practices in the Department of General Medicine at Suwa Central Hospital.
We will make sure these books ard cherished and put to good use.We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for her kindness.

I have donated these books with the hope that they might provide a moment of positivity for the children and families undergoing treatment at my alma mater, Tokushima University Hospital, as well as for the medical staff who care for them every day.
Although I studied and grew up in Tokushima, I am currently working as a general practitioner and family physician in a different region. I am truly delighted to be able to connect with my alma mater and the children in this way.
I hope these books will help spark the children’s interest in the future and give them a sense of hope. From here in Shinshu, I am cheering for you all with all my heart.
