We held an awareness event for World Patient Safety Day.
In conjunction with World Patient Safety Day on Thursday, September 17, 2026, we collaborated with various institutions across Tokushima Prefecture to raise awareness. This initiative included lighting up prominent landmarks and facilities—such as Tokushima University Hospital, Tokushima Prefectural Central Hospital, Tokushima Red Cross Hospital, Yoshinogawa Medical Center, Tokushima Nursing Association, Washi-no-mon Gate, and the Tokushima Prefectural Government Office—as well as distributing posters and pamphlets.
On the day of the event, the following awareness activities were held at Tokushima University Hospital, drawing a large number of patients and medical staff.

・Theme Color (Orange) Display by the healthcare professionals of Tokushima University Hospital
・Awareness Campaign through posters and pamphlets
・Special Appointment of "Tokupon" (Tokushima University's official mascot) as the Honorary Director of the Safety Management Department for the day
